Somehow we are here in the second month of 2021–so much has changed, while so much is the same. For every bright moment, there are still a hundred challenges ahead. Steady through it all, the community of music, dance, art, and support that we have built continues on. This month, Abrazo brings you a few options to dance into happy, with friends old and new.
3:30-4:30 (PST/ SF)
We offer you an hour, every Sunday, to take a break and reconnect with tango. This month, Miranda Lindelow hosts our February classes, certain to take you deeper into connection and musicality!
Come as you are, dance as you please.

What do we do with the money: We pay all our teachers, performers, lecturers, artists and musicians; we donate to queer tango teachers around the globe, and pay our monthly expenses.
WAIT THERE’S MORE
Several queer tango teachers have online classes and private lessons. We made a list of everyone we know about here: https://abrazoqueertango.wordpress.com/more-queer-tango-news
Please consider supporting them, take the tango tuition challenge: send what you would normally spend on lessons each week to a teacher of your choice.
Wooden Table Cafe: Our favorite Argentine cafe and bakery, run by Andres and Citabria, has lots of goodies you can send to everyone you wish you could hug: https://woodentablebaking.com/. The cafe, over in the heart of downtown Oakland, is open and serving up sweet and savory goodies to eat and drink. You can order online for pick up or order in and enjoy outdoor seating.
Queer Tango Resources SF Bay Area: https://www.facebook.com/groups/88504309052/ Folks post all things queer tango, events, videos, and of course there’s a bit of tango chit chat going on.
Be safe, dear friends.
