Beloved tango community,
How is it already March? It’s hard to believe that a year ago we were dancing towards a festivalito, and now we are all experts on zoom classes and the solo tanda. The ups and downs of the last year have been a lot to manage for us all, but we’re glad that through the challenges our wonderful queer tango community continues to come together and grow.
As spring approaches, we are thrilled to continue our weekly Sunday classes in March, welcoming back our very own Mira Barakat!
In this drop-in friendly, all-levels virtual series, we will develop a theme in each class together, including strong personal posture and technique; ochos, pivots and giros; and exploring the reasons why we move and how we connect to the music. I will share some of my favorite topics and material from these months of teaching solely online. There will be time for questions, exploration, and a bit of socializing.
Same zoon link. Same sliding scale. Boom.
Be well, keep dancing!
Long live queer tango!
