Featured event

April 11-14, 2024 Conexion, the Miami Queer Tango Festival

This little gem of a festival features invited queer artists from around the world. Truly, the only queer tango festival in the USA where you can work with so many amazing queer tango teachers. I can’t list them – seriously go look at who will be teaching. There are three days of classes and queer milongas with performances every night. Mira Barakat, one of our local teachers, will be teaching and performing. Word on the queer tango street, a nice Bay Area contingent is attending! More information at https://miamiqueertangofestival.com/

Featured Special

Throughout December, Wooden Table Baking Co  is offering 15% off your entire order with the promo code ABRAZO. Everything is made with love by our very own Andrés Ozzuna! He ships all over the country. This is your chance to eat good things, share some holiday goodies with your friends and family and support a queer, trans, immigrant owned business. Check out the goodness that Andrés bakes up!

IT TAKES A VILLAGE And in this case one very talented, persistent, patient person to get Abrazo Queer Tango on Instagram with edited photos, videos, stories, posts, reels — all year long – telling the world about the joys of queer tango. Thank you Elly Fernandez, dancer, teacher, organizer and IG pro, for making sure Abrazo got to be Abrazo on Instagram.  If you like what we do over here at Abrazo you can find us on IG thanks to Elly.

Wherever you are in the world, wishing you the warmest embrace this month.
